Back It Up With Backup

It's so many of us one time or another has happened in our technologically obsessed life. We process all the important information in the computer. We have taken hours to complete so that we lose pretty much everything else trace. And only if you are almost there, something really important happens, and you will regret it for the rest of your life.

An unexpected power outage. The blue screen of death. And you realize as you bang your head against the wall, do not save you. Is not thatsad.

Okay. So maybe you are not careful enough to save every so often just so that you lose any important information. Heck, most programs now have the new and improved autosave feature to work remotely from your desk and the computer does the rest, saving your work automatically every few minutes or so.

To simply rest on your chair, spins around and gives you a couple of occasional attacks of headache and nausea.

So saved. Is that it? Do not you know thatfaulty wiring shorted to zap all your valuable data in a spark? Do not you know that unscrupulous hackers and vagabonds, what can they will attempt to rip off important information from you? So what do you do?

So, folks, the key word here is backup, and no, we're talking not just backup. We're talking about maximum security backup. Hey, is valuable information. You do not see the leather-bound volumes of Encyclopedia do come cheap now.

Your data may be worthwhileMillion dollars. Or even if it's only your own personal data, and even if nobody wanted it anyway, it's still priceless to you, and what is important. It is always a monumental loss when you lose something, ill incidents of technology.

So what do you do to protect your important, valuable files? Backup, and how! Backup multiple copies in different places. Print burn it out, to a CD, save it on different hard drives, flash drives, youripod, wherever.

You can never too many backup copies of your mother's famous mouth-watering top-secret chocolate chip cookie recipe. Of course, you should be aware that you should update your original files, you update your backup files, and not to forget the backup media used.

I mean, can you have saved tons of backup copies on magnetic tape, but I think it's safe to say that we are well out of the era of low-tech media. It is time to update your backup copies before theywill expire, and all you will have no chance of recovery.

Of course, you may actually need to keep secure your backup. One can not rely simply to the elements and unreliable people are exposed. Keep the CDs and hard drives as needed: Not in the sun and high temperatures, as the manual reads. Keep it somewhere where you know you will find it.

Not play with it too much. On a cool, dry place. And if you are the kind that do not play around with data in all youmay already know the high price at which you value your very important information.

So take all reasonable steps to take. Not only take backup, keep it under lock and key! Encrypt like crazy. Toss in various levels of maximum security.

Please update your software regularly. To keep the following things, and you will be successful with your backups and you'll have no problem to retrieve your data.
